The 10th largest city in the United States and the 3rd largest city in California, San Jose is large in both size (177 square miles) and population (945,000). Yet it has managed to avoid a lot of the problems normally associated with large urban areas. The people are generally friendly, outgoing and polite, and the city is generally clean and peaceful (Safest Big City in America). There are always a number of civic events and activities happening. These are a few shots of the area I've collected since coming here in 2002.
